I have always been a creative person and a maker, this is who I am! As a teenager, textiles were my thing. Later, I developed an interest in photography and went to college to study visual display. This led to me becoming a Visual Merchandising Manager, during my previous career.
15 years ago, I had a change of direction when flowers were calling me. I went back to college for three years and studied floristry.
After working at a busy florist, managing many weddings along the way, I realised I wanted to focus purely on Wedding florals, as they are my favourite part of floristry! That decision led me to where I am today. Welcome to florry, which I run from my village workshop, near to a beautiful Northamptonshire forest.
During my journey with florry, I discovered early on that I also had an enthusiasm for sharing my knowledge and skills with others. So, alongside my Wedding floristry, I also tutor for Northamptonshire Council, hold private workshops, and have demonstrated for the Royal Horticultural Society at Tatton, last summer.
I hope you you enjoy looking at my work on this site. Please do get in touch, whatever your flowery query is.
