Styling details – Elegance, romance, gold, muted tones, sage green and ruffles.

The library has very large full-sized windows, letting large quantities of natural light into the room.  There is so much character in here with the large window openings, ceiling height, artwork, a harp, and books, it is a library after all!

We introduced the popular frame to provide a strong focal area for the ceremony, draping it in simple white voiles.  Floral displays stand either side of the registrars table, with tied bunches of foliages on the chair ends.  Our romantic set up is completed with a scattering of white Rose petals down the aisle.

Next, over to the beautifully decorated Bouverie room for the wedding Breakfast.  The elegant interior and an elaborate fireplace provide a beautiful and romantic ambience.  Our popular gold floral display stands were the perfect design choice to complement this charming room.  The stands also elevate the height of the ceilings, taking your eye above and beyond to the beautiful artwork, to be admired by all.  The whites, greens, and warm colours of the florals perfectly reflect the colours of the room.

All of my designs were made without any floral foam, something I am passionate about in wedding design.

I asked if it were possible for Laura from the Greenhouse Cakerie to include ruffles as part of her wedding cake design.  She did not disappoint, beautiful details that work so perfectly with the gold cake frame.

Finally, our model Audra, looking beautiful in the ruffled dress, the inspiration behind all of the ruffles!

Thank you to Delapré Abbey for welcoming the shoot and Michaela from the Abbey for being so helpful in the organisation of the room set ups, both during the run up and on the day.

Brilliant as always, working with Sophie from Forevermore events.

Loved working for the first time on location with Laura from the Greenhouse Cakerie. Thank you for taking part.

Thank you to Audra for wanting to be our bride for the day.

And a final thank you to Anna from Purple Cat photography for capturing the event so beautifully.

Flowers on my Doorstep

Growing Flowers for my Floristry Lockdown number two has given me the opportunity to get back into my garden this November. It is a chance to tidy up, get ready for the winter, and plant out some bulbs and hardy annuals for the spring! I had a first go at growing my own flowers, for […]
